I see a theatre taking place everyday on the streets and I love to use my phone camera to the fullest.

If you'd ask which genre has been my A1 since Day 1, I'd say The Streets! Honestly, I'm still working on the portraits I take, but the streets have so much to tell.

The streets are filled with colour and the activities going on any normal day doesn't really need any special occasion to carry a camera. If you've got the eye for it, you won't miss out on a single thing that won't intrigue you!

What's an interesting thing about the streets is you can get to explore a community and their culture. It's all so vivid, you'll know what the whole community is about in seconds. Ofcourse, in India, you'll see similar activities everywhere, but there are certain places, people, their food, festivals etc which set each apart in a unique way.

I love the spontaneity you get to showcase, on the streets.

Practicing street photography has helped me in changing my perspective. I have become more observant, walk a lot and walk to places I have never been. I can see beauty in many things I never noticed before. I think we can find the aesthetic everywhere from our personal perspective.

You can sense a story in everything you find out. Weaving stories through your frames is something photography tends to focus upon.

We prioritise perception, isn't it?

I really admire Street Photographers, they have learnt to break away from their inhibitions of taking a picture and aiming the lens at anything they find thought provoking or they want to showcase, with confidence. I admit, I'm still underway with shedding that inhibition. Just shy, over thinker things, you know!
