Topic: What Would You Like To Use Dark Energy Crystals For?
The Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) have become a thriving economy over night. We find buy and sell walls on the Steem-Engine exchange, all day, every day. Orbs, Skins, Potions and upvote-bot - there is much to sink our DEC into.
However, I was wondering what other ideas the Splinterlands community has, to spend their hard earned DEC for. What would make sense? What would be fun and/or good for the economy? Some people have talked about staking DEC, but I wonder what for.
Please share your thoughts and ideas about the Dark Energy Crystals and how we can make them even more interesting.

I think for getting sp delegations. You can grind for DEC, then stake the DEC to get more SP to get even more battles in to get more DEC! It'll be beautiful.

I am sure we could expand the shop. After these orbs are sold out is that max they will never be avaible again ?
The shop might include things like refill DEC % earned from winning battles, ability to buy beta packs (or whatever packs come after beta) and I will have to think on it more as to what else might be an option. I see DEC having many uses and being of high value.

It would be interesting to have the possibility of exchanging or selling the potions but having beta packs for dec... idk, the benefits of the Splinterlands come mainly from that, so I don't see that happening.

Yeah, buying cards on the market for DEC is something that makes a lot of sense.
About the recharge I am not so sure, it sounds like it would be easily abusable. It kind of counters the point of the capture rate in the first place. You would earn DEC, loose ECR, spend some of your new DEC, earn more DEC and so on and so forth.
