Thoughts on struggles

in #thoughts6 years ago

Seems that autopilot mode is failing for everyone and then when there is a situation we are not comfortable with we tend to struggle to make change happen. Change and changing are built in our brain and soul, we are by nature people who wonder and react to change and in fact some might go further and live on change. Autopilot makes us blind and lazy to get aboard on the change vehicle, say you are trying to get up earlier every day or you want to do more exercise but you end up doing the opposite maybe you start your own research on which method will be the most effective or which one will get you faster results at the end of the day you realized nothing has changed and it was just the same cycle over and over again.
Try to make a minor change first and make it a win, feel good about it, think about your struggles or what you are struggling with maybe you want to run a marathon but you cannot make it further than 20k , is that enough for you to stop running? Should you feel bad about not making the 42K ? Is that something that make you upset?
Most of the time there is something that we should struggle with both I think that both the struggle and your goal are part of the happiness it brings when you reach it, you wouldn't be as happy if it was easy, right?
Happiness on the other hand is something that can be simple, you don't really need to try to be happy, you need to accept your struggles, cope with them and then realize how happy you can be. There is also something further down the hole that no one really says, you are meant to be happy and the universe conspires not against but favoring you on everything making everything the best thing that could happen to you but then our mind movie our struggles make us reject that reality, you are not accepting your struggles so you won't be happy, you are not allowing the universe act in your life so you won't be happy. The key is to be open to every new possibility believe that everything that could happen to you is the best thing that could happen to you and for the best outcome possible and then you need to have the openness to fight and get over your struggles to be happy and reach your goals and then slowly you will realize how easy it could be to be happy.
The practice is the hard test because we usually have all this situations going on that we find it very hard to see the positive side of it and then maybe we are not willing to take all those struggles to one day be happy, and then the autopilot usually make us think you should be happy now without much struggle and not doing something to build up happiness, usually by means that are not very positive in the long term or that make us loose things we really appreciate like family and friends.
When you heard someone saying the key of happiness is within you is somehow right but he is not telling the whole story either, how much are you willing to struggle and suffer to be happy? And then I'm not even getting started with the real question, what is happiness? and how do you define it? What makes you happy? Do you rather make people happy or be happy yourself?

On a previous post I explain how I was preparing and going through a workday and then I happened to be somehow inspired

Are you letting your struggles apart you from happiness?

I recently had a new perspective on being happy and it involves creative solutions to problems. We all gonna have problems, mine will be different than yours; even when they get solved new ones are created at a different level. I now think that my happiness depends on the ability to solve problem.

Sure thing you have changed your way to approach problems and solving them will be a key part of your happiness and if there were no problems to be solved maybe there will be no happiness
