RE: Some (mostly electronic) stuff you should check out on musicoin.org
Yeah, musicoin.org rocks. It certainly got the attention for indie musicians, and is an interesting alternative to SoundCloud. But for musicoin to really make it big, they need to become equally interesting for listeners. My impression so far is that it is mostly musicians using musicoin. It will be very interestjng to follow how this evolves over the next year. Plus there are several other similar sites out there or in the works (I wrote a piece about it a while back) Emenate, Fenix.cash, Aurovine...
Agreed on the listener thing. Apparently they have some plans there. It is definitely mostly musicians so far, but we'll see how their plans address that I guess. I think fans may start to show up more if artists push it too. I think that's kind of a cycle though... the better it gets for listeners, the more artists will want to send their fans. I'm optimistic, but like you say, we'll see.
I'll have to check out your article, the only other one I've come across is Emenate, which did look interesting.
I guess you have a point there, when momentum builds, more listeners will join in.

Cool... Aurovine definitely looks interesting, thanks.
Hi @moeostar. Do you have a link to your post please? I think I read it but I want to make sure. Cheers!
Sure, I pasted below, a couple of weeks or so ago.
