Mindfulness- a state of well being !
Mindfulness is one of the heart core principle of Buddhism. As Buddha said ' Do not dwell in the past ,do not dream of the future ,concentrate the mind on the present moment'. This quote is the clear explaination for mindfulness.
I was asked by my psychologist and mind trainer to practice this task. And guys what i get is immense pleasure. Major reason for chronic stress in some people is thst they are more concentrated on either their past or anxious about their future.
Purpose of writting this blog is to throw some light to people who are suffering from negative thoughts which includes guilt ,grief , and hyper deppression patients. As a first step to following this practice you have to first start mindfulness meditation.
Difference between normal meditation and mindful editation
In normal meditation you are supposed to not listen to the chattering of mind. While in mindful meditation you can hear the chattering of your mind.You have to listen to your self ,acknowledge your thoughts and let it go.
Mindfulness in everyday life
Put your whole concentration in your present task and your self. Just savour everything . It may be a zip of coffee just sink into that feel you get when you taste. Get the best fruit out of everything. It can be talking to a friend, reading a book or any critcal task. Be attentive to all the sensation within you.
If you are stressed just listen to your mind and let it go. If you start practicing this let go task you will no more break even under high pressure situation. Because you are mindful and you are at peace.
I wish if everyone practice this since it has got a lot of benefits . Even researches have found that this state of being gives you flexibility,tolerance,stress reduction,boosts to working memoryfocus,relationship satisfaction and other benefits.
When you arw doing a task let it be your personal task or your proffession it enhances skill to a greater extend as well as intrest in doing that particular task.
I wish if everyone do this because i believe all the issues in the present world which are made by humans are result of their thoughts. Actually every success that happened till today was arised from a thought. If we know how to control this thought effectively it can change your entire situation. So guys just try this practice .It s only my small effort to give suffering people a hope to change their life

My dear friend your post is small but it say lot as you are right we always have to think for present because what already passed will never change and if we live in present then we can change feature. Meditation must need for everyone which i think and buddha is symbol of meditations.

When i was visited sri lanka before 2 years at that time i seen lots of place where medication center and very big statue of lord buddha. When we enter that place then automatically we feel batter and peace. Sri lanka is Buddhist County and you will get to see buddha statue and temple at every place. Its really nice experience of that place of visit
You are very lucky to see places of budhha. I love buddha culture. Used to implement that in my life too. To a great extend it worked for me. The only thing i was not able to follow is to be a pure vegetarian. Everything else is incredible. :)
Yes i feel great when i was there because he learned how to live simple life and what we have to do to live and else. Buddha is one avtar of lord vishnu. I will recommend to you visit sri lanka if you really love meditation. I am sorry that you can't follow only one thing of being vegetarian as you live at that place where mostly non-vegetarian food get to eat.
Mindfulness is an amazing practice and I think everyone should look into it. This can improve every aspect of your life. This is a great article and everyone should read it. Namaste my new friend.

I try to stay in the present moment and some days it's easier than others. Do you have any advice on how to improve? Should I just meditate more?
Start with mindfulness meditation. There can be different thoughts passing through your mind..just listen to it one by one. Find a solution to your anxiety if your problem is solvable. If not just let it go. Mindful meditation can be best practiced while you r going to sleep at night. Since while sleeping your subconcious mind is active and can give better results. Don't force yourself to be in present moment.. Just make it your habit gradually. It may take time. Be patient and you will have a great change ahead. All the best @eitsky. Keep in touch.

Mindfulness is something that I try to practice 24/7. I try to be really aware of my thought process, emotions and reactions. Meditation can help build the skills involved in it but it in it self is meditation. It is also single-pointness of the mind. The idea is to be AWARE. I really love this as I have been practicing it for many years and have been writing about it as well. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more like it soon!
