세계불꽃축제, 초미세먼지 주의 필요
오늘 (27일) 서울 여의도 한강공원에서 세계불꽃축제가 열립니다. 매년 수많은 관람객이 찾는 서울의 대표 축제로, 형형색색 불꽃이 가을 밤하늘을 수놓을 예정이고, 최근의 대규모 콘서트처럼 도시 전체가 축제 분위기에 물들 것으로 기대됩니다.
하지만 언론보도에 따르면 화약 연소로 발생하는 초미세먼지 농도는 급격히 치솟는다고 합니다.
2023년 축제 당시에는 평소보다 최대 35배 높아져 ‘매우 나쁨’ 기준치를 크게 넘겼고, 이러한 고농도 상태가 최대 3시간가량 이어졌다고 합니다. 전문가들은 호흡기나 심혈관계에 부담을 줄 수 있다며 마스크 착용을 권고했습니다.
