내가 가지고 있는 자격증 중 정말 유용한 자격증이 하나 있는데, 그게 바로 ISMS-P 인증심사원 자격증이다.🏅

그 자격증을 가지고 있으면 ISMS-P 인증심사에 심사원 자격으로 참여할 수 있는데, 현재는 하루에 20만원정도를 받는다.💰
이번주에는 5일 동안 인천 영종도에 위치한 회사로 심사를 하러 갔다.🚆💨
신청할 당시에는 영종도에 위치한 줄은 몰랐으니 이렇게 먼 곳으로 가게 됐다. 심사를 하러 가기 위해서는 회사에다가는 휴가를 써야 한다.
1년에 한번 정도는 심사할 수 있도록 배려해줬으면 좋겠지만 얄짤없다. 😒심사원 자격으로 심사를 하러 나가면 업무적으로도 많은 도움이 되고 교육시간도 채워지는데 이걸 안해준다는게 맘에 들지 않는다. 그러면서 회사에서는 내가 이 심사원 자격이 있다면서 다른 고객사에 제안을 넣으면서, 나에게는 별다른 혜택이 없다. 심사라도 한번 정도는 보내줄 수 있는것이 아닌가 싶다.🤷‍♂️ 본부장님이나 팀장님이 이 자격증을 안가지고 있어서 그런가 싶기도 하고

I have one really useful certification, and that’s the ISMS-P Auditor certification. 🏅

With this certification, I can participate as an auditor in ISMS-P certification assessments,
and currently, the pay is around 200,000 KRW per day. 💰

This week, I went to a company in Yeongjongdo, Incheon for a five-day audit.
When I applied for the project, I didn’t realize the company was located so far away,
which is how I ended up commuting all the way there. 🚆💨

To do these audits, I have to use my vacation days at work.
I wish the company would allow me to do at least one audit per year
without taking personal leave, but no such luck. 😒

Being an audit team member is actually beneficial for my job,
as it helps me gain valuable experience and fulfill required training hours.
Yet, the company doesn’t support me in doing this. 🤷‍♂️

At the same time, they brag about my certification
and even include it in proposals to other clients,
but I don’t get any benefits from it.

Maybe it's just because the director or team leader doesn't have this certification...

아무튼 경기도 안양에서 영종도까지 출퇴근하는 건 정말 끔찍했다. 😩🚆
다른 심사원 3명 중 2명은 영종도로 숙소를 구해서 다니고 나머지 한명은 자차를 이용해서 출퇴근을 했는데🚗 심사 팀장이 나보고도 그냥 숙소를 구하는게 어떻겠냐고 물어봐도 나는 그냥 출퇴근을 고수했다.
바로 그 주에 계속 검도를 가기 위해서인데🥋⚔️, 결론적으로 말하면 그 주 5일 동안 단 이틀만 검도에 나갔다.😅

숙소비도 어느정도 심사기관에서 나오는데 그걸 포기하고서도 일주일에 두번만 검도를 나갔다. 이건 정말 손해라고 볼 수 있다.🤦‍♂️💸

Anyway, commuting from Anyang to Yeongjongdo was absolutely brutal. 😩🚆

Out of the four auditors, two got accommodations in Yeongjongdo,
and another drove to work in their own car. 🚗

The audit team leader even asked me if I wanted to get a place nearby,
but I insisted on commuting instead.

Why? Because I wanted to keep going to Kendo practice that week. 🥋⚔️

But in the end, I only made it to practice twice out of the five days. 😅

The audit agency covered part of the accommodation costs,
but I gave that up—all for just two days of Kendo.

Honestly, that feels like a serious loss. 🤦‍♂️💸

출근해서 업무보는 시간은 많지 않다. 10시쯤에 출근해서 5시쯤에 퇴근을 하니까 대략 6시간 정도 근무를 하면되는데, 출퇴근 시간이 6시간이 넘는 어이가 없는 일주일을 보내야 했다.🤯🚆
정작 가고자 했던 검도는 첫날에는 시간이 애매해서 못가고 목요일은 힘들어서, 금요일은 약속이 있어서 못갔다. 정말 끔찍한 경험이었다. 😩
나름 출퇴근 시간을 즐기고자 노력했지만 이건 노력해서 되는 문제가 아니라는 것을 깨달았다.

마지막 철수하는 날에는 노트북을 놓고 와서 공항철도를 타고 집에 가다가 다시 돌아와서 노트북을 가지고 와야했다. 그마저도 2시간이 넘게 걸렸다.😭💻

앞으로는 심사갈 때 여러가지를 고려하고 신청해야겠다.

I didn’t actually spend much time working after commuting.

Since I arrived at the office around 10 AM and left around 5 PM,
I only worked for about six hours a day.

But the commute itself took over six hours daily,
making for a completely ridiculous workweek. 🤯🚆

As for Kendo, the whole reason I refused to stay near Yeongjongdo?

• Monday: The timing was off, so I couldn’t go.
• Thursday: I was too exhausted.
• Friday: I had other plans.

In the end, I barely even made it to practice. What a nightmare. 😩

I tried to make the most of my commute,
but I realized some things just aren’t fixable no matter how much effort you put in.

And to top it all off, on the final day,
I forgot my laptop at the office and had to turn back
while already halfway home on the Airport Railroad.

That alone cost me another two hours. 😭💻

Next time I sign up for an audit,
I’m definitely going to consider every factor before applying.
