It is the last week of season 20 engagement challenge and we are glad that we have come this far. We are thrilled to see users taking on this fitness challenge with all seriousness and we want to believe that by now, they are already experiencing good results.

In this week 6, we will go for full body exercises. We will try out the various exercises that will help build the muscles all around the body.

First week, we carried out cardio programs in this post. Check it again and get familiar with the programs

For the second week, we went for abs attack in this post. Let's check them out again.

Week 3 was for stronger legs in this post. Check them out

Week 4 was for buttocks and hips here. Check out the programs there.

And for week 5 which we just concluded, we went for arms/shoulder sculpturing exercises here.

We have also seen the importance of warm up and stretches before and after each day's exercises.

For this final week, we want to try out all the programs that will touch all parts of the body beginning from cardio, abs, buts and hips, legs and arms exercises. Hope you are ready yyyyyyy?

Why exercise your full body?

It is very important that while exercising, we try as much as possible to exercise our whole body. There shouldn't be any part of our body parts that we should skip because they are part of our body and we make use of them from time to time. Targeting the whole body has wonderful benefits

It helps burn calories faster

Helps reduce risks of injury

Enhances muscles recovery

Booster your workout productivity

Helps you gain more balance.

Reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety

It can also improve mood and help deal with stress

It can strengthen heart

Improve blood circulation

Enhances flexible and tone muscles

The list continues more and more. Hence, never say never when it comes to any part of the body in exercises. They are very helpful.

Exercises that can help work for full body

There are a lot of exercise programs that can help with full body exercises. They include the jumping jacks, running, cycling, skipping, and other structured programs that target specific parts in the body like the ones for abs, hips and butts, legs and arms and so on. If combined, we can achieve better full body that we dream of.

Going through the programs for these past 5 weeks will give us insight into what to do.

what you are required to do

👉 Carry out warmups (video is not necessary)

👉 Choose one exercise program from each of the 5 weeks that we did in the last 5 weeks. See the post for each week above. Watch the video below and see some illustrations of some of the programs that touches all body parts. Only carry out one program each and this will sum up to 5 different programs. Tell us what you did, how you did it, the benefits and the overall feelings.

👉 Carry out stretches at the end of each training days

👉 Take the liberty to tell us how many Repetitions you did for each of the 5 different programs but note that you have to increase the sets and repetitions to surpass the previous week's programs you did unless you are a beginner.

How to plan for that exercise program for maximum benefits

To plan your exercise is by far easier than planning a meal planner as there is no shopping and no budget involved. Hallelujah!

When creating an exercise planner you have to keep the following in mind;
• Involve your family
• Figure out what activities you enjoy most
• Have fun!
• Take your current fitness level in consideration
• Do time management
• Develop a plan to gradually increase your activity levels. For example you might plan to walk for 30 minutes three times a week. After a week or two you can increase it to 45 minutes four times a week
• Build variety in your program
• Use the F.I.T.T principle at all times, frequency, intensity, type and time
• Allow time for recovery
• Measure your progress
•. Always remain hydrated
•. Stick to a healthy diet and do not eat late night food

Best wishes!
