Afternoon Snack: Protein Shake
Peanutbutter - Banana Protein Shake
This is a very easy healthy drink to make, I sometimes replace my meal with it whenever I want to lose some baby fats. Specially after coming home from my travels, I always feel like I gained a little from all the food I ate.
And of course if you're into fitness like me, you know how effective protein shakes in helping build muscles. It's my favorite drink after a heavy or even lazy workout.
It's very high in protein and I get just enough carbohydrates that I need. Plus it's easier to digest compared to other types of proteins and it's got a lot amino acid from the whey protein that helps breakdown food in our body.
This are the ingredients I used:
1/2 cup Frozen Banana
1/4 cup Peanut butter
1/2 cup Soymilk
1 scoop Whey protein
I love having it with a lot of chocolate and banana, but still tasty in any way. Enjoy!
Sounds really good, what kind of chocolate do you use?
I use normal cacao without added sugar because the banana is already sweet :)
