My Daily Challenge Completed - 105 reps:

Daily Assessment: I looked up other exercises I can do with my ez curl bar and realized that I forgot upright rows. These will help me rest other muscle groups more. I've been debating waiting on the gym and my Bowflex until we hit 60 days so I can tell the story that everything I did in my progress pics was from my 75 pound bar, some push-ups and some sit-ups. This can motivate people who think they have to go to the gym or need fancy equipment.

I've also been focusing a lot on hydration lately to make sure my body isn't tired from that. I ate a pound of ground turkey, a 5oz. bag of all natural chips (I know), and 3 servings of plain yogurt with 25g protein per serving. My drinks were a LOT of coconut water, 2 servings of a natural protein drink, and a kambucha multi-green tea.

Another Australian in the house! Nice job and welcome to the crew. Hadn't heard of GTG reps until today, so a nice lesson. I think I've done those inadvertently over the years.

@steemmatt excellent initiative! Excercise has been prooved as a great factor that helps preventing many disieases. Just 30 min a day can make a great difference helping to prevent cobsitions as the ( Polyquistic Ovaric Syndrom ) POS and so others.

The heat got the better of me, think I might have got mild case of heat stroke riding home.

I had heat stroke once and it was horrible. Congrats on sticking to the plan and finding a way to get it done. This is actually 120 reps since 30 mins of fitness walking is 100 reps + 20 push-ups. Nice job.

Yeah it doesn't help wearing the protective clothing either, jacket gloves etc.
I couldn't just do nothing lol, always got some gym time in me lol :D

First time that I post here but this won´t be the last one :D
I did 200 jumps with the Skipping rope but I´m not sure if I should count them because this would increase the total amount of my reps too much. Maybe on my "rest" days ;)

As for the jumping rope, to try to keep this clear cut for everyone, we'll exclude those from reps, unless you're doing them for 30 minutes or more (extended cardio activity).

Glad you found our blog and it looks like you'll have some good tips for us to learn from.

Solid workout there, and welcome to the challenge.
I think skipping should be treated like cardio, with @steemmatt on this one.
However I count sled runs as reps because I load the sled up with weights, and doing about 120 steps flat out for 5 sets really works the legs(120 steps = 12 reps). They really take it out of you, especially @ sled weight + 75kgs

The sled sounds nice, maybe I should get one too :D

Daily Challenge Completed - 100

  • 10x3 very slow hip elevations (30)
  • 5 min sitting squat (no breaks) (10)
  • 5x10 sec table (10)
  • Removed approximately 30 cm (12 inches) snow from a 25 meter row of hedge bushes. A LOT of snow. Most of the branches were completely pinned to the ground by the snow, so I thought it would be a good idea to remove it. It took 45 minutes and involved a lot of lifting branches with lots of snow on them, and digging a path for myself to work from. Very good core and torso exercise. (50)
