Why do you add Ya mismo to that line? Can you not simply say *...voy a ver toda la serie.'?
I'm wondering is it local slang or necessary sentence structure?

You're absolutely right, I am Venezuela and I speak Spanish, I feel that we misused some phrases and made them redundant, I use the translator to write you, friend haha
