RE: Yoga 2.0 - Flow Video

Thank you @fitinfun, I'm grateful for your comment. I'm happy to share the modified yoga-ish stuff I know too! :)
There are a lot of ways to make the body/mind/soul complex feel better, even with basic light stretches or breathing exercises. Honestly I think the breath is way more important than crazy poses.

I used a fitness trainer to lose "half my size" a few years ago. He taught me to stretch daily and it changed my life. He called it "yoga" for a few months as he thought I would not want to "just stretch" lol. Any movement is better than none for me :)

On breathing - we spent months to get me to breathe fully, deeply, and at the right time. He was constantly telling me to breathe. "Are you breathing?" "No, and don't ask me again. It's too hard." <<< Went on for months.

It turns out the obese and sick people hold their breath or breath shallowly to avoid pain. This is still true for me and I have to really work the breathing daily. It is probably one of my hardest daily tasks. Off to do a few minutes of it now. Thanks for the reminder :)

You're welcome! And congratulations, that's quite an accomplishment. I too have witnessed the miracles of stretching and/or yoga :) It's pretty incredible what a difference it makes in quality of life.

Conscious breathing is another thing that drastically improves existence, and it's the most accessible upgrade too -- you're already always breathing, all the time! Just keep remembering to breathe meaningfully :)

The song "Hallelujah" has been in my head for many days, and there's a line in the song that says "and every breath we drew was hallelujah" -- could you imagine what it must feel like to really use your breath so profoundly?? OMG it changes everything!!

You are so right. I don't notice when I stop, but I sure notice when I start back up again. The weight loss set me on this social media path trying to help others ergh. Unintended consequences :)
