What was so amazing about this novel was how much Olivia had to go through. Study about the crew’s dreams was her profession on the sub of prisoners. In reality or I would say “in dreams” she turned in to patient herself, getting trapped in the hallucinations and dreams caused but the creature, getting cut into small pieces and then being put together using someone else’s body parts... At one point she lost so many people close to her including James to this creature, the only redemption for her would be to save Violet...she did, including Vivian and Helen. Violet laughed. “You’re crushing me. This is real, isn’t it? The outside. You really did it, didn’t you.” Tears welled up in Olivia’s eyes, and her lower lip quivered...
This novel was undoubtedly the best of the three and I really enjoyed reading it.
