NutraBio 100% Whey Protein Isolate Dutch Chocolate Flavor --A Review

Right up front, I want to state that going into this, I was a little worried.

Why?

Simple.

I had purchased NutraBio's 100% Whey Protein Isolate a while back, and was not impressed with it.

But,

I was looking around on one of the big online supplement places and I saw that they now carried NutaBio--and I thought, why not, I will try them again.

To say, that I was impressed is an understatement.

Maybe I was just not feeling it when I purchased the product, a while back--but to me, this was a totally different product.

The first thing that I noticed was how good the product smelled when I first opened the can.

This got me excited.

Then I tried a scoop in on of my trusty big plastic cups.

Mixed easily.

Now for the real test, the first sip.

Not bad.

I must admit, that I am a chocolate person--so the taste was a bit weak--but, it was not bad.

In fact, I may have just found my new favorite protein powder.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

First, is that they tell you EXACTLY what is in the product.

Second, and this to me is a big one--this whey protein is NON-GMO--big time for me, as I try to take in as many

NON-GMO products as I can

And third, it contain 25 grams of protein per 29.87 gram scoop--making this product just over 83% protein

NOTE: These numbers can vary per flavor.

Fourth, the numbers on this product are outstanding

By this I mean, it has no fat per scoop and only one gram of carbs.

Making this the perfect protein for someone doing low carb eating.

As an added plus, it only contains 95mg of sodium per serving.

Lastly, I must say that it mixes up great--and is not a thick protein, so it goes down easy.

NEGATIVES

The only negative, is that the chocolate flavor is a bit weak--at least for me, but, as I stated above, this really is not a problem.

This protein, would make a fantastic post workout protein--one that can help you recover from your intense workouts.

So in closing, I want to say, that, if you are like me, and love your whey protein powder, and are always on the lookout for a new product to try-you cannot go wrong with NutraBio's 100% Whey Protein Isolate Dutch Chocolate flavor.
