RE: Drawing A Line Between Hearing And Listening
My man! Good morning from UK, Bob, I hope you and Miss Robin are having a nice weekend. I had a few responses here this morning and saved this one for last—I love me some Sweed comments! 👍🏿 Good to hear from you again, by the way.
I didn’t know that about Bush or Clinton, either, I just started digging around online, the same way I did all of those articles, and found those about the presidents. Disturbing ain’t it?? I just think we all should know everything, not just what they want us to know. The wiser we get, the more we realize they’re no wiser than us, they just have more access to more technology for psychological warfare. Too many people praise those guys as though they’ve personally met them or something. 🤔 I just think they should know everything about them before they praise them.
Continuing on that subject actually, since we’ve been here, in the UK, I’ve been asked about three times now, “can I ask you something?” I can tell they’ve been itching for a long time to meet an American, I say “ask me anything you want.” ..”what do you think about Trump?” My answer would be the same if they stopped me 10-20 years ago, just insert the guys name: “I know you better than I know the president and I don’t trust you one bit, that’s what I think of him.”
That’s awesome your son recognizes that. It wasn’t until my mother left I began saying “moms earn the right to act like a mom.” Your son figured out the dad part before his dad was gone. 👍🏿
I’m with you about only sweating the things you have a chance at altering, absolutely. Isn’t it disturbing the amount of things and the magnitude of them that are slowly, one by one, coming to light?
Thanks for stopping by @thebigsweed, it’s been too long, sir.
