I know I Appreciate It!

This piece I call "Escape Hatch"!

To start, I made a free form splash effect, and added Moon.

Next I turned it in it's side and blasted a hole in the Moon, softening also.

Finally, all other effects added, lighting and softening adjustments, and done!
