Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:
A view of Prague in spring. Photo taken from the hill where the Castle is located. It can be seen the red roofs of the buildings in Malá Strana. The tower of Charles Bridge is easily visible in the image. Other spires and towers are also recognizable.
I rewarded @nenio entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Church of St.Peter and St.Paul, Old Bohnice, Prague
Bohnice was a small village behind Prague. But today they are part of Prague.
The castle, the church, the cemetery, the square ...
The church was consecrated in 1158. It was rebuilt many times and is still being used.
Beds of flowers in Stromovka. With over 100 ha, Stromovka is one of the largest parks in Prague. It is situated in the Bubeneč neighborhood, not too far from the city center, which is also why it is sometimes referred to as "the Prague Central Park". Definitely one of the most peaceful places in the city with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Powder tower (Prašná brána) - Gothic tower in Prague, a monument of architecture of the XV century. It is located on the Republic Square next to the Public house and is connected to it by a covered bridge. At the gate begins Celetna street (Celetná), from which begins the first part of the Royal road leading to the Prague Castle.
Prague. Vinogradsky Avenue, the main street of the Royal Grapes, leads to Iřigo Square with Podebrady, which houses the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of the Lord. On this more than unconventional cathedral, a flat 42-meter tower with a huge clock, with a transparent dial, which occupies almost a third of the tower.
Old Town Square, Prague - playing with light and bubbles.
The Old Town Square is one of the most famous and visited points of the Capital. With fairs, old buildings and, the famous clock, high point of the place. It is beautiful, besides being one of the oldest watches in the world! Being one of the main attractions of Prague. Well worth it.
Charles Bridge
Nice bridge with great views of the river and the entire city. One of the must-see attractions of Prague, without a doubt. Inevitable turistuco site to pass in the Castle area. Attraction among the most famous in Prague.
St. Peter's and Paul's Cathedral in Brno is monumental gothic building built continuously from 12th century but its 84 meters high towers got at the begining of 20th century. It's also a seat church of the bishop pater Vojtech.
Capital of the Czech Republic. The city of Prague has the earliest Jew community in Bohemia and is among the longest surviving and most important Jew centers in East Central Europe. From the seventeenth to the nineteenth hundreds of years, Prague was among the largest Jew communities in Europe. The existence of Jew retailers at Prague markets is now mentioned in a report from the Iberian Jew retailer Ibrhm ibn Yaqb in about 970. Jew settlement at that time was located near the princes market In the region below Prague Castle. Another community, near Vyehrad Castle, on the ideal bank of the Vltava River, is mentioned in a listing of 1091.
Anti Jew unrest broke out in Prague in 1096 in relationship with the First Crusade. The synagogue and the Jew area beneath the castle had been burned down in 1142. The focus of this settlement was concentrated along what's now irok Street. In its first period, Jews enjoyed the very same rights as Frankish retailers: they had been free to settle and to trade, could clinic crafts, and scholars of internal autonomy. By the elevenththirteenth countless years, Prague was a major centre of rabbinic culture. Many renowned scholars settled there, such as Yitsak ben Yaakov ha Lavan of Prague, his student Avraham ben Azriel, and Yitsak ben Mosheh.
The status of Jews in middle ages Prague deteriorated, however, under the effect of the Crusades and ecclesiastical edicts during the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
