I have prepared the list of active users who does not use excessively upvote bots (plus a few other requirements, written down below) and will be publishing it weekly or maybe every second week, among with a few other lists of top bloggers writing in the specific languages. I hope this list can be used by everyone as the challenge to grow and climb up, by writing high quality posts, and hopefully buying some STEEM (if you can afford it). It can be used also by those of you who look for a high quality writers worth to follow - just find the language you speak, open new tabs with all the bloggers writing in it, check content and follow all the folks you like.

If you are not on the list, and you’d like to be, just make sure your account follow all the requirements, and write the comment, so I can verify it and add to the next edition.

Here are the requirements:

  1. No more than 5% of the total SP delegated to bots (exceptions may be made, if user is having high CSI rate)
  2. Last log in in 7 days
  3. In case of writers at least one post in the last 10 days, in case of curators voting CSI rate over 2.0
  4. reputation 25 or higher
  5. user’s account registered more than one month ago
  6. The list will have maximum 250 positions, you have to have more SP than the last person on the list.

To find yourself on the list, just click Ctrl+F (Ctrl+B in spanish speaking countries) and write down your nickname

    It's an interesting project, but I don't think you can do it on an automated base. What would probably work would be trying to form a network with people who actively, and humanly curate the communities where most of the non AI content is published (I'm sure each one has their own list and eventually get some compromise from living people to send you their data every couple of weeks. I'm sure even a monthly publication on this would be of value, still, I will have to be based on opinion and not data collection from the blockchain.
    It would imply some cooperation from people, a good coordination from you and some extra work compiling the data you receive.
    I see no perfect way around this. :)))

    I was doing it (and more) all by myself manually before. Takes a loot of time, but I'm a bit of the stat-slut, loving counting, summarizing, making tables etc. HERE is my previous post of that type, from years before. It's actually a good source to check how does the platform develop, how does the SP of active writers grow etc.
    Not sure if I'll continue with the list in that form though. I will be thinking about it.
    I definitely see some pros of doing it. Simple example, manually checking 5k accounts allowed me to discover a couple of interesting profiles, including yours among others ;)

      I'm not convinced that doing this is a great idea. A not insignificant number of those accounts purely use their power for reward farming.

      I definitely see some extremely heavy bot users towards the top too.

      The idea I had was to help other users find interesting bloggers worth following, so they are not solely focused on getting rewards but also on interacting with others or simply reading.

      I’m introducing Steemit to @diegocelma, and he asked me how to change the wall because it’s full of Korean, Chinese, and Bengali posts, which he doesn’t understand. I suggested following a couple of interesting users and checking the wall under 'my friends' instead. Then I realized, new users absolutely don’t know who to follow, and even older users, including me, are missing plenty of valuable profiles.

      Perhaps, instead of making a list focused on SP, I should create a list of bloggers exclusively, categorizing them by the topics they write about, and the language of their posts. I’ll have to think about it.

      Thanks for the feedback - I'll definitely think about the value of continuing this list and about possible alternatives.

      Even this will be difficult, given the abuse of hashtags these days. It's rare that people use them appropriately.

      This site is good for filtering out most of the shit. I think that about 60% of content is filtered out and it's more user friendly than Steemit currently is.

      @diegocelma should have more joy finding decent content than trying to find it with the current interface.

        That's correct. It's sorted by new but if you're interested in a particular topic, you can use the community and tag filters in the right panel. The tag filters allow for multi-tag search so that you can be specific with the content that you read.

            Since my SP is 1500, I never even hope to jump on the 250th step of this nice train - no matter how original and quality is the content I am providing to the blockchain, I will be invisible. So yeah, the value of this list is a bit questionable, at least for steemians like me. @papi-mati

              She's a Russian blogger I follow for a long while, almost since I entered the blockchain. (Why is she put under English label, I wonder?) Just a good (typical, I guess) example to look at closely.
              Position is #216. Actual, efficient SP is 66 STEEM.
              No, no, she does not delegate to any 'bots' - but all power is delegated to 'permitted' services and communities which are not considered as 'bots' and autovoters:

              (Check any her post to make sure it was voted back with these four services/communities). What is the usefulness of this user, her activity / support of other users? very nominal, purely symbolic, very questionable for me. (It was just a close example I had at my hand, nothing personal). What if most other users on this list here are a bit the same? High SP above 10k, mostly delegated, with efficient SP purely symbolic? @papi-mati, @the-gorillla
