RE: Why the Rich and Poor need cryptocurrencies (steemit /steem , Bitcoin, Elyte.io et al )

in #success7 years ago

To be honest, there is a lot of gambling when it comes to investing on STEEM or any other currency. There is no way to predict their value in the future and waiting indefinitely before you cash in can be equally catastrophic.

Sort:

EVERYWHERE we have risks. If you go to work, you could become unemployed. If you buy a house, then war could happen, and terrorists bomb your house.

yes and that is why I refute the first claim in the thread

On what ground...can you elaborate?

The first claim is: Grow your coins , not gamble with them

You can't grow without gamble. Even Jesus had a parable for that regarding faith.

The term gamble is correct in that context ie long term hold...And to correct you, you can grow without gamble ...being being conservative with your choice if you know what I mean

Good point...even banks can steal your money including your central government....I trust crypto more than them.

Life is full of gambling isnt it? remember that bitcoin was perceived ( and still ) as a gamble...however made many people rich

Someone always gets rich. Even during a bubble burst.

The banks I guess..hahaha ...however we have the chance to get our own share in crypto space more than banks isnt it?

The banks began as safekeeping of wealth before becoming what they are now. If hackers become the burglairs of the digital era, cyber banks will be created for crypto. It is inevidable.

We have crypto banks now isnt it? Coinbase, blockchain, ledger et al isnt it?

dunno what they count as, I am exchanging my steem dollars with someone who pays directly to my paypal
