RE: UnBelieve: Stories of Uncovering Beliefs & Overcoming Limitations

in #story7 years ago

It is hard for Americans, in our culture, to reach the idea of SATISFACTION. Most Americans are never satisfied. It is tough on those who live with an un-satisfied person. There has got to be a balance somewhere between satisfaction and non-satisfication. Life is tough these days, in any event. The world is changing rapidly and we are at the end of a 1000 year cycle. Big changes are coming.

Good points. Everyone experiences the duality - feeling more satisfied or dissatisfied at different points of their life. We are driven to want more, the human condition is to look to do more/achieve more but it gets twisted and exploited. Our job isn't so much to come to work and clock in, but to shop. Everyone feeling their not good enough mixed with strong advertising campaigns meant to trick people into thinking they can solve their problems with goods and products, it's a recipe for disaster. That's what your reply got me thinking. Thanks for that, I enjoy and value thought-provoking remarks such as this greatly.
