UnBelieve: Stories of Uncovering Beliefs & Overcoming Limitations

in #story7 years ago

All knowledge lies hidden within us. We only need to discover it. Uncovering our deeply held beliefs is the key to unlocking our potential.

Listen to my story and the stories of 6 beautiful souls who are doing the brave, vulnerable work to better understand their beliefs. When we work toward healing ourselves we vibrate the healing outward!

Throughout my life I was very independent and liked being alone. It was like playing hide and seek, hoping I'd never be found. Eventually, I realized what was missing, and why I had lost it in the first place. In order to do so, I had to go back to my childhood to see exactly when I stopped believing I was worthy of friendship to begin the (on-going) healing process.

Thanks for sharing there's a good lesson to be learned in your story.

It is hard for Americans, in our culture, to reach the idea of SATISFACTION. Most Americans are never satisfied. It is tough on those who live with an un-satisfied person. There has got to be a balance somewhere between satisfaction and non-satisfication. Life is tough these days, in any event. The world is changing rapidly and we are at the end of a 1000 year cycle. Big changes are coming.

Good points. Everyone experiences the duality - feeling more satisfied or dissatisfied at different points of their life. We are driven to want more, the human condition is to look to do more/achieve more but it gets twisted and exploited. Our job isn't so much to come to work and clock in, but to shop. Everyone feeling their not good enough mixed with strong advertising campaigns meant to trick people into thinking they can solve their problems with goods and products, it's a recipe for disaster. That's what your reply got me thinking. Thanks for that, I enjoy and value thought-provoking remarks such as this greatly.

Thank you for sharing your story and those of others. We all have a story to tell and being vulnerable inspires others in ways we can't even imagine. :)

This is amazing! Great job Jenny, you're such an amazing storyteller and soul.

thank you!!! : )

I too am remembering my beliefs that I had as a child and am incorporating them in my adult life. . Reinventing myself one day at a time! I have only done an introduction post but there is more to come. A lot more!

Sounds like a great outlook, basically hitting refresh each day and knowing there are lessons available to us all day long!

great Post learnt so much.
