Thanks, Nancy! You are so right about how much meaning and history have been stripped from our lives but living in a disposable society. I'll never feel the same way about an Apple Watch as I do about this Elgin. The Apple Watch will last a few years (at best) before it's obsolete and is either traded in or thrown away.
