RE: steemit copy and paste I don't think so. my first post on steemit, name and shame
Forgive me if there's a better way to connect with you. Navigating Steemit is so new to me.
I just read a post: 10 Things Americans Don't Know About Their Home Country America posted by mazenbj. I read the entire post thinking this guy's a good writer and knows what he's talking about. But when I got to the bottom of the article there's a link to the source. Before I clicked the link, I upvoted and followed the guy. Then I visited the author's Steemit page and, after reading his self description, decided he couldn't have been the author and unfollowed him. So I clicked the link and went to the real author's blog. Is this the sort of cut and paste piracy you're talking about, or does the poster's reference to the real author's website make it okay? I don't think it does. What's your take?
Also, I formatted this in MarkdownPad 2 and then cut and pasted into the reply box since I have no idea how to do it otherwise. I wouldn't think this could be a problem. I'm sort of anal about all of this. I just don't want to blunder into red flag territory myself. Thanks.
