RE: Steemit Social Justice Warrior Life

Skeptic mimicked the Sears guy, but he did not reproduce Sears work word for word; therefore his work is a parody of Sears work, but a reference to Sears would be preferable and Skeptic has remedied his omission.

FYI, if you understand the definition that you pasted then you should understand that Sears work is satire: he created humour about a sjw without reproducing the sjw directly!

Maybe, instead of being so aggressive, you could have just pointed out, politely, to skeptic that he should reference Sears.

You guys have history, but really, to the casual observer, the way you have conducted yourself in these comments simply smacks of desperation: that you are desperate for him to look bad so that you can look/feel good.

Seriously, can you not see the irony?

Sort:

SO when he used the exact same jokes, same punchlines, word for word he didn't directly reproduce it. Sears is Parody of SJW, skeptic took that parody and claimed it as his own, not Satire.

Sears was mocking and making fun of SJW by mimicking what they do. What did skeptic make fun of? Sears? Was he Parodying Sears, who was Parodying a SJW? Should really read what Satire is and what Parody is don't you think:

At this point I have to agree with skeptic that your comprehension skills are somewhat lacking. You read a definition and your understanding of it is completely wrong even when given a clear example. Stew in your ignorance or have someone sit down with you and explain it- I give up.

YOu have to agree that what Skeptic did was Parody.

That this is Skeptic's Parody? What examples were given? That he changed Web To Steemit and used every joke in the video as it was said? I'm stewing in ignorance after I've addressed your reply that "duh this is parody" which missed the point that it wasn't skeptic's parody, he didn't mock SJW, JP did. Skeptic didn't make any comedy, you clearly know what "satire" and "parody" are, thats why you took the time to answer to my question/reply to my post instead of Rage Quitting over my completely wrong understanding, here's my post again, for reference to everyone who might be nodding their heads at you and his antics.

Clearly, but it's not his parody, @skeptic didn't write the jokes which are a paroody of SJW

1.Parody is just a mimicry of an established concept, idea, or a person and satire is something spoken in humour without reproducing the subject directly.
That seems lost on some folk, I'm sure that Sears won't like you claiming that This Is Me On Mild from his hard work. They clearly reproduce the subject directly, he's not making fun of JPSears he's using the jokes Sears made and changing meaningless details, which are the same jokes without or with the details changed as they are about SJW either way. He didn't make anything original, he took someone else's work and claimed it as his own while acting as if this can be parody, and if he believe this is parody, that itself is a get out of jail free card because he is ignorant to what copying and pasting plagiarizing is and what parody and satire are.

I should lighten up after you called me a loser and a loner, lmao, project much, I cannot possibly enjoy laughing this much at people not even understanding what copy pasting is and mimicking and mocking is.

He didn't reproduce Joke after Joke word for word, no? LMAO! Nor did he reproduce the subject that sears was Parodying, Satire is what he was doing lmao, he was doing Animal Farm not Scary Movie 3.

No, he didn't reproduce it word for word. Listen to the video and read skeptic's work and you will find that he cut it down considerably and made it more suitable for steemit.
You keep laughing because you need to lighten up.
Expect no more replies from me and feel free to have the last word.

He changed a couple scenery things, and called his parody. All the jokes are JP's not his. Do you understand that JP was making the jokes about SJW, which is PARODY, because he mocks and doesn't care about a deep message, such as a satirical piece. What Skeptic did was take another parody and copy pasted it over here/formated it for this setting, but the subject was always SJW, he wasn't parodying SJW, JP was, he "made it more suitable for steemit". The point is that NOBODY was confused about this being a parody because it's a parody, the point is that if you do indeed listen to the video it's word for word line for line (except he put Steemit instead of Web, and changes some figures around.. lmao and calls it HIS) and you would understand why others have remarked that "it's not parody" and it's very easy to consider what he did plagiarizing.

Thank you for "discussing" instead of furiously leaving me with the last word, because why actually try to understand what is happening outside your assumptive narrative.

BTW I saw Skeptic's parodies before, what this is though is not HIS parody, seems that is quite lost on you and why should I give you the benefit of doubt over satire even, to you mimiking something to make a joke about it and copy pasting jokes that you changed some names around and some scenery are the same thing, no?
