I'm surprised more people don't use this site.
When ever I mention this site to anyone I know no one has ever used it, but I have been using it for years to check out dodgy looking websites I'm unfamiliar with.
In the toolbar you have the option to scan a website.
Just copy the url and paste it into the scan field and away you go.
The URLvoid will scan the website and check it against numerous databases and alert you if threats are found.
You can google results and find out more about them, but I find lots of websites will come up as scumware like reddit for instance. However this is really just warning you that you should not download anything from that website, it doesn't mean you will get a virus or something like that.
Anyway thought I would share this favorite tool of mine :)

I try to check everything, but every now and then I get lazy. After so many years of being an internet addict I have become fairly familiar with a rather large amount to websites now.
Lol I think that last emoji is a man with a bread wearing a party hat :)
