Today they announced account based voting which means the post with the most votes wins. You can now use bid bots for visibility (I'm not sure about the visibility part looking at the rankings right now) but won't count as a vote.

Oh and I forgot you earn Hunt tokens by upvoting, commenting, resteeming. You have a Hunt wallet on your steemhunt profile where you see how many hunt tokens you've earned.
