Dry and emission-free cleaning of solar panels in the desert

Hunter's comment
In the desert areas of Chile, the solar panels used quickly lose their performance due to the sand dust. Another problem is that in this dry region no water can be used to clean the solar modules of the photovoltaic systems. The INTI-TECH robots use brushes driven by solar energy. During the day the charging is done and at night when the solar panels are not working the cleaning is done. After the first successful tests, a fleet of 4000 cleaning robots is planned.

This is perfect, the solar panel works in the day and the robot cleans at night, it will make the solar panel lasts longer. Great hunt

Thank You & Happy Hunting :-)
Smart robot
Solar power for sure will be one of the ecological energy of the future once it will be more efficient. And for sure this cleaning device will help to automate the entire solution and harvest more sun than ever. Great find!
