Saturday Ride 🚲 Free stuff 🐑
I have had a pretty busy day so far with doing the Lawns and cleaning both showers, add in a 28K bike ride plus a 3.5K walk and i think my exercising is done for the day.
Here is my circle that used to be sand base for the pool, 6 weeks ago i leveled it out and planted some grass seed.
Its looking good with great a great coverage of grass and is nice and level.
My bike ride went really well this morning and i was going to go further and i probably should have, minimal wind today under a cloudy sky but the temp is still half decent being 22 degrees C.
The bonelss leg of lamb we had the other night was a freebie from a mate which lasted us 2 nights worth of dinners, i got him a bottle of whiskey today and popped over to see him.
He had some more Lamb and gave me this Leg of lamb, this time its bone in which is fine by me!
Plus 2 Lamb racks which will go nicely on the BBQ which may have to be cooked in the next week or so.
Nothing like free stuff and the above would probably cost me close to $70 at the supermarket - hence the bottle of Whiskey i gave him.
For the rest of the day i will be relaxing and taking it easy.

There's this huge unkempt area at the back of our house. We have levelled it up, fenced it with some plants, and yesterday sprinkled some grass seeds there. I can't wait to see how the place looks like in few weeks. Hopefully, a nice place to hang out with friends and families over BBQs. Although the next few months are going to be extremely hot for any such activities.
Why did you get rid of the pool?

I have been outside doing a bit more minor lawn work, on our berm the grass around the edges sunk a little.
Just bout to do another award winning 🏆post about that LOL.
There is nothing like a nice area to hang out in, hope it goes to plan.
We got rid of the pool as we had used it for four summers and the kids didn't even swim in it on year 4.
it was only an $800 above ground intex pool and was starting to show its age - so out it went.
I need to go and water my grass seed...i imagine you do as well.
