Get Paid To Meditate And Other Personal Development Pursuits: HighVibeNetwork Coming To STEEM!!

This was announced a while back but it seemed to miss my radar. In fact, looking at old posts, it didn't seem to get much attention from anyone.

We have another entity that is coming to the STEEM network. Actually, this appears to be one of the first indications at a project looking at being a multi-chain application.

HighVibeNetwork seeks to be a unified blockchain to awaken human potential. Essentially, through the use of tokens, they want to pay people to become the best they can become.

This is a very interesting concept since the personal development market is enormous.

This project is starting using the ERC20 protocol. We see this all the time since the Smart Media Token is not released yet. However, my sense is this group has a bit different approach.

Having an ERC20 token not only opens our project up to the largest token investment
community, but it also puts us in a great position to progress the development of
both Ethereum and Steem use cases, where they can not only coexist but work better
together. Storing this token is also very easy as it will work with ERC20 supported wallets
(our team is happy to provide instructions for this).

Furthermore, the ‘Proof of Brain’ style mining mechanics will be a feature release in 2019
that works by leveraging technologies of other blockchains like Steem (Steemit) or EOS
(created by Block One). The main objective is ZERO TRANSACTION FEES, which will make
us one of the few projects that can offer this to its users. This protocol upgrade is also
necessary for the number of transactions we anticipate in the future

It is interesting that they are seeking to have STEEM and Ethereum work together. This is the first time I read about a project trying to integrate those blockchains. The second part, the mention of Proof of Brain pertaining to both STEEM and EOS does make more sense since there are many who are starting to talk about the integration not being too far away with the blockchains @dan created.

This project did latch onto one of the main selling points of STEEM for a project like this. Few blockchains can offer ZERO direct transaction costs. This is of major benefit to a social media site. Obviously, this feature is no available on Ethereum so any integration would still require the activity to be done on the STEEM blockchain.

Another thing that caught my attention is their idea to branch this project out to those who aren't in the ecosystem. Their intention to implement an affiliate program and advertising brings another dimension to their business model.

From the few things I have gathered, and I admit I didn't go through everything, it seems this team is pretty sharp. Their viewpoint of looking to integrate shows they are upon where the industry is going. I like their business plan so far. Plus, adding personal development information to the blockchain makes a ton of sense.

We will see where this ends up going since 2019 is a long time away in crypto time. Nevertheless, this is another project that sees something it likes about the STEEM blockchain.

In addition to the zero transaction fees, I do not think it is stressed enough of how valuable having a built in content/reward system is to people developing projects. This really does make their lives a lot easier since there is a template to operate from.
