If the main concern of those is for Steem to be fair, I feel sorry for them considering their thoughts about the real world and life! Nothing is ever fair whether good or bad, equilibrium is based on human behaviors which as we know can be irrational more often than not. Before pushing for a community to be fair, first one should have a thought about how to be secure about their place there.
