RE: Small fish in the Steem sea

It went from extremely interesting to 3 or 4 photos of their food every day. Whilst this user wasn't buying votes, she'd sold her soul.

That's really unfortunate...

I've just run it so take a look and see if there's anything you like 🙂

I would - as long as there are no cricket-related posts 😄Joking, it seemed like a good filter and it listed a user I’m already keeping an eye on 👍

somebody in Beijing saw what they were doing and makes them stop!

Oh, now I understand. Hm...

Oh, good thinking with the #cricket tag - I don’t think I’ve added that one yet 😉

I make sure that I block a lot of accounts across everything that I do! I think the my interface blocks about 60% of content now. Which still isn’t enough 😆

60%! Damn, this place is so messed up 🤣

🤦‍♂️

I’ll have to run my code and find out. I filter out bot users, krsuccess, people I’ve blacklisted and some entire communities. I should probably filter out #thediarygame too.

I want to filter out my feed too, it's always flooded with resteemed posts (5-10) from a single user. It's really annoying😐

Well, if you're looking at it through your Friends Feed (https://steemit.com/@henryclive/feed), I introduced the [Hide Resteems[(https://steemit.com/hive-151113/@the-gorilla/proposal-86-change-log-hide-resteems) functionality a few months ago which solves that problem 🙂

Oh, great work! I did notice the hide resteem function but I hadn't used that yet since I don't want to hide resteemed posts from a particular user who actually resteems quality content.

Although I could unfollow the user who resteems 5–10 posts a day, I don't want to - because I like her own posts. So my solution has been to rarely check my feed and go directly to the community or user's page...

I tend to start with ReSteems hidden and then if I want to see more, I'll unhide them and see what crops up.

If the people that she's resteeming are consistently bad, you could mute them. That doesn't feel like a great solution though.

you could mute them.

A bit brutal but I'll take it😅 It's not that the contents are bad, they're just not my type. The first option is definitely the more lenient route, though.
