RE: You wanted Steem to be fair

in #steem6 years ago

I'm just a small boy with a big dream.

In my imagination, the fair Steem wouldn't be about rewards but people been found and viewed based on the talent they have and people would interact. Not commenting in hopes of rewards, but to shop appreciation.

I'm just saying this because tl;dr and I'm just hoping my comment will get an upvote.

I'm more into economical right than left, even though I'm not a radical capitalist. I could imagine how some more left-minded would see Steem as a fair platform if nobody could purchase the power, but then again.. why would Steem have value then? The thought of fair being everyone on equal ground OR people being rewarded only for their talents is not what gives Steem any value. And it's the value most are after.

People are generally conflicted in the things they want and what they say and do and on steem, it isn't any different. People want value, they need to understand what value is and where it comes from. If they are interested in only the value of content, they are in luck because one can consume it for free.
