RE: Steemit Statistics - 2017.06.16
Hello @arcange
Looking at the figures on graph -number of users- showing registered users versus active users. I am guilty!
- Let me explain my thoughts on this matter. I believe, as an average user, that many like me would have registered asap, in order to "secure" their favorite user handle. With thoughts such as mine <i'll discover steemit from my sign-on first and then concoct my first post beautifully... in time... when i get the time!>
- My second point would be: I also believe that many "average users" will drop off in time, as I read many steemians being utterly confused on the true merit of their posts. With statements such as:< I'll follow and upvote you, if you do the same for me>
- My third point: Still from an "average user" point of view, registered users might be, as I am, finding the text editor a bit of a challenge to work with. I do know that in time, this editor will present differently, may be much more like (but better) then the current other social media applications. In Steemit, I trust ;-)
Your points are all valid and I agree with all of them.
This remembers me my first steps on platform.
With time, one becomes accustomed and one forgets quickly . But it is good that you remind us the small problems encountered by the newcomers and the fact that it should be improved.
Thanks for your comment.
