oh such surprise @qurator ! thank you very much for the featuring in this beautiful series!
congrats @qwerrie - your city is wonderful !

haha, I'm really tempted to comment you back '...its wonderful, but not in the rain' :)))

i really understand! I'm always waiting for the rain, but it's really rare here in my living part of the earth :-)

i know, I understand you, too!!! my wife's old schooldays friend, who emigrated to Israel, made it back in 2013 with her children and hubby -- to show her native city. the 1st thing they made, was not Nevski prospect or the tube, no. they went to the local park, took a boat (we have 3 huge ponds there) and spent like 2 or 3 hours just sailing... and enjoying the huge amounts of water we have here 'for free'. humans are used to value what they dont have, and vice versa, this is our human nature :)

well sounds strange, bcos we have so many water reservoirs here - the Dead Sea is just one hour of drive from the center, the Red Sea is wonderful and Midterrian Sea is just close to everything from south to north. The rivers at the Northen area and Kineret. But maybe they missed some different kind of sailing activity.
