Morning Meditation (personal)

Dear God, keep my heart steady in the storms within me and without. I am full of vices that waste the hours you give me on earth, as short as my life is.

I only regain the hours when I serve you. I lose myself only in service. I pray that at the close of today, I have a few hours to show for the many I wasted in self-concern. I know it's not much, but it is acceptable for you who has shown me grace from my birth.

Watch over the many others in the human family who need you this day.
Keep our home planet safe.
Let us do your work.
