Journey to Naran, Pakistan
After successfully getting out from the thunderstorm & heavy rain we reached Balakot. The road up to Balakot is excellent. But as soon as we cross the bridge at Balakot to get to the other side of the river and onto Kaghan(A place before Naran) valley, the road is not that pleasant to drive at.It is a dangerous curvey road with blind turns.
A picture of Balakot taken by me & you can see the bridge of Balakot in it.
After successfully getting out from the thunderstorm & heavy rain on a narrow, twisty, curvy roads of Balokt our next mission was to find a restaurant, as i already said it is very difficult to find any restaurant on the hills.
Picture taken by brother from inside the car of narrow twistty roads of Balakot as i was driving.
Finally after 20 more minutes of drive we saw a restaurant which brings smile & happiness on our faces :) .
The Resturant :) .This place has a delicious food & the people are very kind & generous to the tourist. They offered us free tea. After having bellyful with flatbread omelette & Chickpeas we got our energies back & were ready for any other challenge.
Back on the road to Naran .when we reach to Kewai (place after Balakot) we will come across land slides which has covered the road and now the vehicles can cross it while driving over the land slides.
In most places only a single vehicle can cross over it so we need to be careful at times. But generally I would say that the road once you cross Kewai is in good shape untill Naran.
