How to become a better self?
Change is never a roaring revolution, but the beginning of something that is never finished. Open the books you bought and didn't read, and learn the classes you didn't sign up for. If you don't know where to start, put down the phone first, go to bed early and get up early, exercise and read, and plan your life from little by little. Don't rush to read a book to know the whole picture, exercise a few days to see the ideal body, persistence is the key.
The two most likely to fail in the world are: one is willing to act until you see a clear result; The second is blind superstition that choice is greater than effort. You know, the real rewards are those who continue to work hard, regardless of the loss.
Most people are poorly motivated, not because of lack of self-discipline, but because of "vague choices." When you want too much and your mind is cluttered, it's easy to opt for short pleasures rather than sticking to goals that require patience. If you want to increase your motivation, first identify what you really want.
Don't pry into other people's lives, dwell on the past or worry about the future. It's a waste of a second to think about the people and things that cause you internal friction. Spend time sleeping, reading, exercising, and other things that make you grow, and gradually you will find that a calming force will emerge in your life, and anxiety and restlessness will naturally dissipate.
Believe you're good, then pretend to be good. Over time, you'll really get into it and see that you've changed for the better. All change comes from this belief, quietly work hard, will surprise everyone.
The secret of growth is deliberate practice, shut up, calm, pattern, eloquence and other abilities need to be constantly polished. Spend less time trying to please others and more time trying to improve yourself. Even if you do not have a mentor, you can also use audio and video to observe your performance and constantly improve.
Stay away from addictive but meaningless "nipple music" - binge-watching, playing video games, staying up late, these things will only bring short-term pleasure, but will not make you grow. Instead, do things that will benefit you in the long run, such as reading, exercising, going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. It may be painful in the short term, but in the end the rewards will make you more rewarding.
Truly good people know how to stick to long-term valuable things. Set aside an hour or two each day to focus on what is most important, freeing up time from pointless consumption and dedicating it to life-changing actions.
Growth comes from challenging the things you fear. Afraid to communicate with people, start by saying hello; Afraid to speak up, speak up once in every meeting. Each time you complete a challenge, you get one step closer to excellence.
Don't get stuck. Don't stop. Learn to focus, block out distractions, and clearly plan your life goals. The things that make you anxious are actually from your imagination. When you take the first step, life will give you answers you never expected.
The direction of life is determined by action, not fantasy. From now on, focus on yourself, develop inner strength, and wait for the future to happen.
