Autumn is the time of the last harvest in my garden. Although some vegetables can survive winter and frost. I pick the kale in the garden under the snow ๐Ÿ˜‰
This week I was harvesting the root vegetables and I found the biggest leek I've ever seen!
Do you see these long "mustaches"? ๐Ÿ˜
What would you cook of such a leek?

wow ๐Ÿ˜ฏ... i saw the biggest and long Leek, i also never seen anything as big as this. Usually the leek growth in my area only has a dimeter of about 1/4 "or a leaf length of about 30-60 cm, but I saw it in a photo of a leek reaching long till 1 meter.

Thx for shared Moni!

thats a big leek! You might want to get it checked out before the room floods ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Hi Moni! This reminded me of the green onions I put in my beef bone broth soup I made yesterday. I know that is totally not vegitarian or vegan andyou would never eat it, but I've read its super nutritious and full of collagen, and good for your skin, joints, and more.

Whats you take on bone broth?

Thank you! -Dan

No any vegan can advocate any animal product irrespective of their health benefits, as all animal products involved cruelty in it. Human being can live healthy and happy life without consuming any animal product or service.

Old habits die hard my friend. I'm slowly eating less and less animals. Moni's blog has truly been an inspiration to me. But like a cigarette smoker of 36 years, it's hard to quit.

It is really nice that you are willing to quit animal products. Good luck.

Hello @world-travel-pro
Yes, bone broth is good for your skin, joints and intestines.
But I cook vegan broth with vegetables: leek, onion, carrots, parsley and celery roots. The addition of spices is very important. I add garlic, allspice, bay leaf, herbs and clove. You can also add olive oil and soy sauce for the umami "meat" flavor. If you are vegetarian you can add some butter, I recommend you ghee.
I am very happy that my blog inspires you to vegetarianism, Dan. I keep my fingers crossed for a change in your diet and ... change in your life! Because vegetarianism leads to a beautiful development.
