Amazing nature #2 - ๐ Bees and its valuable collaboration with the planet ๐
Hi Steemit Family!
If we are fortunate and do not live in a city so populated we will have a chance to see them in action in some flower, produce one of the most nutritious and healthy food that nature can offer, their pollinating work is what allows many crops to be successful, they are excellent builders. Yes, it is the Bees.
Bees are one of the most important insects for life in the ecosystem. 1/3 of all the products we consume are produced thanks to the pollinating interaction of bees. Although that's just what we consume, we can't really know what the real impact is on the environment and how many plants survive thanks to this wonderful insect.
But what is pollination? Why is it so important for the environment?
Pollination is the process of transferring pollen from the stamens to the stigma or receptive part of the flowers in the angiosperms, where it germinates and fertilizes the eggs of the flower, making possible the production of seeds and fruits. Then we already know why it is so important for nature, thanks to this action the bees feed and stimulate the reproduction and growth of hundreds of species.
Disappearance of bees.
Currently the world is going through one of the strongest environmental crises that the planet has ever had, the interaction of humans, with constructions, monocultures, greenhouse gas emissions, have reduced the world's population of bees, being countries like the USA and some European countries the most affected by the disappearance of this species.
Species such as apples or cotton reproduce thanks to the pollination of bees. Can you imagine a world without cotton? With this, a large part of the clothing production would disappear.
Another of the crucial factors for the disappearance of bees are monocultures, these affect the natural environment of bees and has also annihilated them, due to the aggressive use of agro-toxics that poison bees and with this migrate to other areas.
A recent study, presented at a conference in Brussels (Belgium), carried out by the European Union Reference Laboratory for the health of honey bees, reported that the mortality of this insect in 17 countries in the area varies between 3.5% and 33.6%. Although the numbers are better than expected, says the study, the numbers are still worrisome.
This is really alarming, although there have been other declines in bee colonies in other centuries, in the present climate change is the most damaging factor for the disappearance of these noble animals that, although they are not the only pollinators, a single bee colony can pollinate in a day millions of flowers, achieving the survival and development of plants that are the crop for our basic food.
It is necessary a change, to generate conscience in the mono-producers and to reduce the collateral effects of the massive proliferation of the cities and industries. Without bees, the imminent danger of a collapse of the global crop system will come faster than we think.

@flamingirl Love this!!! I think often people forget how important bees are. I just watched a Netflix documentary on Bees this past weekend. They are important in a lot of our farming here. Farmers are actually bringing bees in on trucks for their crops. Hopefully more people realize this. Great blog post! :-)
Yes, and they are really abused to produce more honey and that I did not know until this year. It's terrible ...
Thank you for your nice comment!
Have a nice day @melbookermusic =)
really very worrying. try to imagine if there aren't any bees in this world. really ๐ฏ honey will never exist on earth. honey color is one of the foods in heaven that was revealed to earth.

I love you, you say you are grateful and thank you
Bees are declining for the moment. But I think they're resilient and things go in Cycles. There is an ebb and flow to it all. Thanks for sharing
I hope so!
Thanks for stopping by =D
Have a nice day!

amazing post :)
Have a wonderful day
Thank you so much @jyinvest!
Have a wonderful day too! =D
Sad thing indeed but I think in the future as humans progress science and technology, we will find a way to overcome this problem even though bees will come extinct.
