its a fact that human beings once they have survived some catelclysmic life threatening event generally are suffering from a deep state of amnesia and shock ! Waking maybe on a far off beach somehwere or a newly formed land to simply search for foos and start again ! Ive read many books on this and it certainly makes total sense to me that we know so little by our past and great knowkedge destroyed as you suggest by total war or other more serious planetary events !! Indeed, though is it the people that write history books, scientists and archaeologists that are the problem?
As all they know is regurgitated facts, and they do not like to be challenged, or is it another group entirely that want us to forget, or simply not know? This is the part that intrigues me most. Superb comment, thank you kindly.
