Ya know, Judy Garland overdid it a bit for the movie, but back then people loved everything over the top.

Whenever I do a cover is with utter respect to the original but also trying to provide my own spirit to it. I like Israel's version, in fact @edprivat knows it superwell and I dueted with him in @steemfest backstage but I confess even before Israel's version came to be I had added myself that little transition chord, it's just a "pass through" chord and it's kind of natural if you want to pause. But yes, both versions are beautiful and it's a beautiful song. I opened a patreon (patreon.com/yidneth) and honestly it's not working much but there is a particular patron that has stand the longest :) and I know it's his favourite movie, so loving the song myself I thought it would be a kind thank you as well.

Aww I still remember our improv moment at the backstage, it was somehow so relaxing with all the nerves going on, I have a wee of video but it was like all kinds of noisy, Katrina was humming to herself, people rushing here and there, and we were caught in it hahaha it was lovely though. I made this for a patron at patreon who's been there a long time, I like the song too of course, but I know it's his favourite movie, also Serena (paintingangels) here once told me to play it so I thought like giving it a go LOL. I forgot to say the open mic intro though ahahha XD so out of competition but a candid shot to it
