My all time favorite movie
This is one movie that I never get bored watching and there is always a smile on my face while watching it. The movie is Lion King, I love the movie and all it's song. I have watched this movie many times and yet it still feels the same. There are 3 Lion King movies, with the 3rd one released around 2 months back, the first two were in the 90s. I remember that one of my Son's birthday party was taking him and all his friends for the Lion King movie and there was so much excitement about it.
The love of Simba and Nala is adorable, the song "Can you feel the Love tonight" by Elton John is a classic one. Last evening I went to the theatre to watch the new one released, which is names Mufasa, it is the story of Simba's father. The movie has been released 2 months back, but hubby was not very keen on watching it, because it's more of a kids movie, it was just not happening. Yesterday I finally could convince him to see the movie. First of all it was very surprising that the movie is still running in the theatre for more then 2 months now. Ideally it's just 2 to 3 weeks max for any movie to be in the theatre. I guess it was waiting for me to watch it......haha.
From start to end I enjoyed the movie thoroughly, the songs are not very catchy as the previous ones but the story line is wonderful and the scenery, visual effects all of it is extraordinary. The director has done a fabulous job. It was such a energy booster for me watching it. I was smiling to myself in so many scenes, especially the love story part, it's so heart warming. The story takes us in the past and also shows how uncle scar also shaped up his character, which is a negative character in the movie, but was not always negative.
I am happy finally I could watch it. Hubby also approved it, else I was worried that he would crib through out the movie because it was not his choice, but then he too enjoyed it. The story line is such that no one cannot get mesmerized by it.
