Minnow-ASAP | Delayed Progress Report Of The Current Push. | How Far Have We Come?
The Minnow-ASAP project was launched 8 days ago and as I previously said that I would make updates once every 7 days, this "progress report" is a little bit late. But for good reasons I might add. I have focused on 4 different users. All of them had and still have different size of stakes, and I have tried to reward these users as equally as I can.
Things I have done:
- I have upvoted content. (All articles and some comments).
- I have powered up 5 Steem to each user. (+5 Steem to @curatorcat for being the first user to use the #minnowasap tag.)
- I will buy 5 SBI shares tomorrow to each user.
I have upvoted @curatorcat 7 times. @wildhomesteading has received 8 upvotes so far, @kansuze got 6 upvotes and @skramatters got 5. This is based upon the amount of articles they publish, as I upvote all articles with 100% voting power.
I do things differently when it comes to comments. I usually upvote these at anything between 25% and 70%. I think the average would be about 40%. @curatorcat got 9 upvotes. @wildhomesteading received 8. @kansuze got 6 and @skramatters got 15 upvotes.
It's extremely difficult to say the exact amount I have been able to reward these users in total, especially as my VP is rather low. And truth to be told, this is not about how much I do. This is about rewarding these users and help them towards minnowhood, so what I have done doesn't matter. The important part is that we do something.
However, based upon the approach I have whenever I upvote, one could at least say that each article has recieved anything from $0,06 and $0,11 while comments have got anything from $0,02 and $0,07. It's a rough guesstimation for those of you who cares about the actual numbers.
Are We There Yet?
No. We have not reached our goal yet, but we have done great things so far. @curatorcat sits at 389.864 SP in total with a previous incoming delegation of (+180.529 STEEM).
At the time I'm writing this, @curatorcat has incoming author rewards of 10.566 SP and 0.883 SBD. Incoming curation rewards of: 0.535 SP. If there are no changes and if 100% of these rewards would be used to power up, @curatorcat would sit at a total of: 402.859 STEEM.
0,883 SBD = 1.904 STEEM.
This basically means that @curatorcat needs ~47 Steem Power in total, to become eligible support from other minnow-making initiatives out there and only ~97 Steem to become a minnow. How cool is that?!

@wildhomesteading has 314.475 SP with incoming delegations of (+200.180 STEEM). With 6.755 SBD in his wallet and with the incoming author rewards of 5.897 SP and 2.638 SBD. Plus the curation rewards of 0.523 SP.
@wildhomesteading would sit at a total of: 340,29 STEEM.
9,38 SBD = 19.412 STEEM.
With an extra ~110 Steem, @wildhomesteading becomes eligible support from other minnow-making projects and with a total of ~160 STEEM, he would become a minnow.

@kansuze has a total of 391.394 SP right now with incoming author rewards of 5.161 SP. With the curation rewards of 0.285 SP, @kansuze would sit on a total of: 396.83 STEEM.
Another 53 Steem would make @kansuze eligible support from other minnow-making projects and with another ~97 STEEM in total, we would have one more minnow.

@skramatters has a total of 205.721 SP and incoming delegations of (+228.727 STEEM). He recently got an upvote from @ocd (congratulations!) so he naturally has some more incoming rewards than others. With incoming author rewards of 24.159 SP and 10.944 SBD, plus curation rewards of 0.247 SP, @skramatters would sit on a total of: 251.67
10.94 SBD = 21.569 STEEM.
With an extra ~199 STEEM, @skramatters would be eligible support from other minnow-making projects out there and he would become a minnow with ~249 STEEM in total.

The Push Continues:
I will continue to support @curatorcat, @wildhomesteading, @kansuze and @skramatters in my attempt to build a stronger middle class for the rest of the week, and I will end this prioritized support on 2019-04-14.
After that, I will continue to support them but I will lower the upvote percentage and focus more on the articles they publish. This would ultimately make room for other users to fill these spots. I'm really happy for you! I don't know if I, or the minnow-asap had anything to do with that, but I'm really thrilled to see that you guys are doing so great. We're heading in the right direction, so there's no reason to stop. :)
I'm up to 329.049 SP now :) the market can be a bit slow sometimes but finally got the SBD changed to Steem and then powered up. Making progress! Thank you @hitmeasap and everyone else for all your support!

I certainly appreciate your efforts @hitmeasap, and it has definitely been an inspiration to dig in and work at it. I have had some steady votes on my posts lately... I think this has been great overall exposure, in addition to the actual value of the upvotes.
Haven't really had any "big" votes since the initiative started (last one was on my anniversary post at the beginning of March — that one earned $19), but consistency goes a long way, too.
