Thanks! Not all meteorites are the same. The difficulty in cutting them depends on the type. Iron is obviously the hardest to cut, but some of the stones can be tough also. The H-chondrites and highly-shocked stones can be very hard and resistant to cutting. Other types are softer, like Howardites and most Vestans - they are friable and quite easy to cut.
