Catching up with home things

It's been around 2 days that I have landed in my city and since then all I have been doing is work and work. There is so much to do and there is time constraint so I cannot afford to waste any time. Most of the work is around managing things for my Airbnb, I was away for 4 months and everything was being managed by caretakers, I only had phone access so there was lots that needed my attention and it makes a difference in this kind of work when you are physically present and take accountability of everything on real time basis.

The day I arrived I took it a little easy, I finished unpacking my bags, which is always a big task for me, and after that got some things arranged at home. Later in the evening I had some time to catch up with my neighbor and we had a hearty time enjoying some Japanese cuisine dinner. Back in Muscat life becomes a little dull, there is nothing much to do besides my office work, the blogging part and some house work. It's just the two of us so it's not much. But back home here in Mumbai as soon as I land it feels like a complete turnover, life becomes super active and some times hectic also.

Yesterday I was out in the market whole day, buying all provisions for my Airbnb and also I needed to look at a few sports equipment's to set up there. It was an exhausting day, the heat is killing and being outdoors is draining. I did order a lot of stuff online, which I prefer these days, but then there are few things which I would like to see and purchase. I managed to finish my list all that I had planned, but by the time I reached home I was dead tired. I purchased a Fooseball table, Basket ball ring and a dart board for my Airbnb sports room. It was a hunt in the beginning of the day but then I found one good sports shop which had everything and then my job got easy. He was a good man, helped a lot with the selections. Everything fitted well in the budget as well. Now he will do the delivery task, which was also one concern for me, and he took care of it.

Day after I will travel to my Airbnb property and then will do all the set up, which is going to be a big task or me, because lot of big as well as small tasks to do. This is what happens most of the times when I am here at home, a lot of time goes away just in catching up with all the pending works and I barely get to relax and enjoy the moment, though I do try to steal some of them. Today I need to look at other things of home, which is more of cleaning and arranging and before I start that I thought I would finish writing my blog.
