Gender violence is a complex topic and needs to be addressed with caution because I often say that gender activists have over the years over-empowered women and forgot that men also faced violence from women. I know of men who are suffering and dying in silence because they are afraid people will laugh at them that a woman is violent towards them and he is not doing anything. Imagine at a funeral men pretend to be strong and not cry because society will name-calling them for being “weak” as if they are women. Everybody has emotional feelings and can express them freely without name-calling. In a nutshell, gender violence is a double-edged sword and should be addressed by both sexes and not focused on women. It should be addressed in an inclusive way. Thank you for the invite and I wish you good luck with the challenge.
Dear friend, thank you very much for reading my post. I completely agree with you that not only women are victims of violence, men are also victims. Just like women have emotions, men also have the same emotions. But they cannot shed tears. Because society declares them weak. Victims of violence can be people of both sexes. May you be successful in the competition. With such best wishes, your friend.
