Micro Cosmic Orbit Meditation By Santiago Dobles & Dr Glenn J Morris.

I was taught this method by the late Chi Kung Master Doctor Glenn J Morris.
The Micro Cosmic Orbit is one of many meditation techniques taught by Internal Taoists and it is used to open and connect all the energy centers in the body. It is also used to open and balance all the main meridians (Energy Channels in the Body) in the body.
During the microcosmic orbit your energy travels up the governing vessel beginning at the perineum. When you squeeze the perineum the chi squirts up the back and eventually goes into the brain. The chi will stay or circulate in the brain unless it is guided downward through the tongue and neck into the conceptual vessel. This connection is made by putting the tongue on the roof of the mouth. This is how one forms the microcosmic orbit. When you touch the tip of your tongue to your upper palate it acts as a connector to the two central or chief meridians. The normal flow of the energy for the kundalini is up the back and down the front. You can also reverse the energy, sometimes referred to as reversing the breath, by sending the energy up the front and down the back. When you have finished running your orbits in meditation you can store the energy in the small intestine. Basic Instructions for the Dr Morris’s Basic Microcosmic Orbit
1. Use any meditation posture of sitting in the chair. And you maintain the spine as straight as possible.

2.  Slow your breathing down and do deep belly breathing. 

3.  Maintain a secret smile to set a positive mood for your deeper meditations.  Smile at your self and allow your entire body to radiate the energy of a smile. 

4.  Keep your head slightly down with the chin tucked and the tongue touching the roof of your 

mouth.

5.  Look down inside yourself and hold the image of a great, red energy ball at the base of your spine. 

6.  Sink the ball below your genitals and into your perineum. 

7.  Pull it across your rectum and squeeze it up through your tail bone. 

8.  As you inhale bring the energy ball up the back of your spinal column and over your head. Try to 

master coordinating energy movement with the breath. As you inhale you bring the energy up and as you exhale you send the energy down.

9.  As you inhale bring the ball of energy up and it will change colors as it moves through the energy 

of each chakra.

10. When the energy begins to change from green to blue you will know you are bringing energy into 

your brain.

11. Try to make your breathing seamless, which means the energy flows in a continuous motion and 

there is no pause between inhale and exhale.

A great visual is to see a fire dragon moving up the spine and a White cooling tiger flowing down the opposite side as you exhale this is another simple version of the Micro Cosmic Orbit.
