All the Best Parts of Traveling the World
Hey there! I decided to join Steem because a friend told me it was THE place to cut through the noise and be heard. In six months and counting of traveling the world, I've learned some great tricks for getting the most out of traveling and found some great places to recommend, and I'd love to share them. My interests in a nutshell: great food, gorgeous nature, experiences that aren't just your typical tourist stuff. If you want opinions on which pasteles de nata is the best in Lisbon, which gardens you should visit in Kyoto, and what you should do in southern Sweden (bike through the countryside!), I've got 'em.
I love to travel, and since my husband and I decided to make our work location independent and travel the world, I get to do a lot of it! Here's a little sneak peek of what's to come. All photos are my own, all rights reserved.
In Tarifa, Spain, one of the things that completely blew me away was the light.
In Ronda, one thing every traveler should know is that you HAVE to stick around for the sunset. (Okay, okay – actually, there are a lot of top tips for getting the most out of Ronda. But that's a story for another post.)
Bali, fabled paradise and land of eating, praying, and loving, is getting a bit crowded these days. But there are still ways to find a peaceful corner.
Makes me feel pretty lucky to be a digital nomad. Thanks for reading, and I hope I'll see you around!

Thanks, phi23! I just checked out your post, "The Music Plays Itself and the Dancer is the Dance." I thought it was a great meditation on the state of flow, something we work with a lot in Aikido. Anyway, I look forward to reading more of your writing!
Thank you, yes the flow referred to is definitely in Aikido.
Welcome to Steemit!
I would use the #travel tag.
Thanks, that's a great tip! By the way, I love your username. Lol!
Those rice plants look so pokey, the sky re-election, these two thing together makes a very fun picture.
Thank you! It was a ton of fun being there.
