독자 개발한 원전 핵연료도 수익은 미국 웨스팅하우스 몫으로 10년간 계약했다.
체코 원전 사업을 수주하면서 미국 웨스팅하우스 업체와의 원전 1기당 6억 5천만 달러(약 9천억 원) 물품, 용역 구매 계약과 1억 7500만 달러(약 24000억 원) 기술 사용료를 50년간 지급하기로 비밀리 합의하면서 불리한 계약을 맺었는데...
우리가 개발해서 원천기술로 갖고 있는 하이퍼16 핵연료의 공급권도 미국 웨스팅하우스에게 10년간의 공급권을 손쉽게 넘겨줬다고 합니다.
그러면서
체코 원전 사업을 적극적으로 주도한 한수원 황주호 사장이 사임했다고 하네요.
사임하면 끝인가?!
그리고
- 하이퍼16 핵연료는 한수원에 개발비만 214억 원 투자를 했고,
국내외 특허를 48건을 보유하고 있습니다.
또한,
- 1년 6개월마다 3분의 1씩 연료를 교체해 줘야 해서 장기간 안정적인 수익이 예상되는 원천 기술이라고 하네요.

위약금 줘서라도 파기를 해야 하는데...

50년간 호구딜을 아마 할 것으로 보이고...
국내의 원전 관련 기업들은 미국 웨스팅하우스와 잘 협약해서 최대한 수익을 거두는 쪽으로 가는 방향이 되어야 하지 않을까 싶네요.
