The apple fruit just as its name may suggest is obtained from the apple tree. It is not a fruit that is normally grown in the tropics like that of Ghana nonetheless it doesn't make it a scarce fruit too as it is available in abundance and tends not to be expensive too. Apple is highly rich in antioxidants and helps to mop up free radicals that may be running through your system. Free radicals are highly unstable and may cause tissue damage when they react. Apples help prevent that from happening, the more you take in the more antioxidative functions you get.
It is also highly rich in vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, etc, and thus tend to help in diverse ways to maintain a healthy living. Some include tissue healing, hemoglobin formation, immune system strengthening, retentive memory, etc.
Apple is great for patients with ulcers, diabetes, fever, cardiovascular conditions, and even cancer patients. Some even report whitening of teeth effect from eating apples, perhaps due to the citric acid. Either way, apple is a recommended fruit to take. If you can't take it daily, take it often and it will be sure to do you lots of good.
